For full transparency: The land we were leasing from our neighbor to use for our parking lot has changed ownership, and the new owner is not interested in continuing the lease with us.

 At this time, we cannot come up with a solution in time to have the festival this year. We welcome anyone who has any amazing idea for a solution to the problem to email us at solutions@spnfestival.com

We have already considered bussing people to/from hotels or nearby parking lots in Mansfield, however the cost of this service would be fairly astronomical, so it really isn’t an option financially. We have also considered building a parking garage and building an airship shuttle – again, these options are not financially viable (as much fun as they sound).

To quelch any rumors before they start: No, this has nothing to do with Scarborough Hollow. Yes, we took a hit last year with the overlap, but not a big enough one to take us out. This decision is entirely due to a lack of places to park people and nothing else. We will continue to work towards some kind of solution for the future, but until then… we must postpone.

 We are not done with ALL events. We will still be holding smaller scale events like the Drag Me to the Tea and the Mad Hatter Tea party, as well as other tea and tasting events – so keep an eye on us for those announcements. We are still available for wedding and special event bookings as well.
